On December 27, 2023, at Hall 10F of Ton Duc Thang University, Organoid Sciences Company organized the Workshop "Vietnam Korea Bio-chem Network".

The conference provided information about scientific research achievements in the field of biochemistry in Vietnam and Korea. Attendees will gain accurate and useful information about advances and achievements in the field of biochemistry. And facilitate direct exchanges and exchanges between lecturers, researchers, students of Ton Duc Thang University and reporters.

Program content:
Session 1:
1. Dr. Le Thi Phuong (on behalf of Associate Professor Tran Ngoc Quyen): Presented a report on achievements and research directions on synthesizing multifunctional biological materials based on natural polymers and potential applications in Vietnam. Report title: Multifunctional Biomaterials based on Natural Polymers: Research Trends and Potential Applications in Vietnam.
2. Dr. Le Minh Thong: Presenting a report on Achievements and research directions on animal genome biodiversity in sustainable development. Report title: Research on Genome Biology.
3. Dr. Vu Van Kien: Presenting a report on Ultrasensitive testing at the resolution of a molecule in a cell and its application in cancer research and genetic diseases. Report title: In situ ultra-sensitive testing at single-molecular resolution and its application in cancer research and diagnostics.
4. Associate Professor. Jongman Yoo: Presenting a report on the achievements and potential of 3D Organoid cell culture technology applied in biomedicine and pharmacy. Report title: Organoid-based Discovery platform for Innovative Screening, Evaluation, and Identification.
Session 2:
5. Dr. Truong Minh Dung: Presenting a report on Update on the situation of Vietnamese international students in Korea. Reasons and next goals of Vietnam-Korea Bio-Chem Network (VKBC).
6. Dr. Do Thi Thu Hien: Presenting a report on Evaluation of biochemical characteristics of Vietnamese medicinal plants. Report name: Natural compounds and bioactivity properties.
7. Dr. Pham Duc Toan: Introduction to Journal club of Faculty of Pharmacy. Opportunity to connect the Faculty of Pharmacy and researchers and lecturers from Vietnam-Korea Bio-Chem Network (VKBC) through conducting Journal club sessions.
8. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Qua: Microfluidic technology applied in Biomedicine. Report title: Microfluidic Devices For Biomedical Research.
