In 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) plans to admit students in 45 standard program majors, 21 advanced program majors, 11 English-taught program majors, 10 English-taught university preparation program majors, 13 programs at the Khanh Hoa branch, 14 international joint training program majors, and 14 international joint training preparatory program majors via the following admission methods:
- Method 1: Admission based on high school academic results
- Method 2: Admission based on the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam results
- Method 3: Admission based on the 2025 National University of Ho Chi Minh City competency assessment exam results
- Method 4: Priority admission according to TDTU regulations and direct admission according to the Ministry of Education and Training's regulations

Below are the detailed contents of each admission method:
- 1. Method 1: Admission based on high school academic results

a. Target group
- Candidates who are 12th-grade students at high schools that have signed cooperation agreements with TDTU and who graduate from high school in 2025 are eligible for all programs (international joint training programs admit candidates graduating from 2021 to 2025).
- Candidates who are 12th-grade students at high schools that have not signed cooperation agreements with TDTU and graduate from high school between 2021 and 2025 are eligible for international joint training programs.
b. Registration time: Expected from May 15, 2025, on TDTU’s system
c. Registration procedure:
- Step 1: Candidates register online, adjust and upload documents to prove their priority status, English certificates, academic achievement certificates, etc. (if applicable) on the system at https://xettuyen.tdtu.edu.vn (candidates do not need to submit paper documents to TDTU).
- Step 2: Candidates pay the application fee online via the system.
- Step 3: Candidates check the status of their documents, payment confirmation, etc. on the system at https://xettuyen.tdtu.edu.vn using their provided account.
- Step 4: Candidates continue to register their preferences on the Ministry of Education and Training’s system according to the scheduled time.
d. Admission documents: Candidates register for admission and upload priority documents (if applicable), English certificates as required (if applicable), certificates of academic achievements (if applicable), etc. online to the system at https://xettuyen.tdtu.edu.vn
e. Admission principles:
- Each candidate can register an unlimited number of preferences for admission.
- Admission is based on high school results from 6 semesters (Semester 1 and 2 of grades 10, 11, and 12) according to subject combinations. For English-taught programs, candidates can apply based on subject combinations with international English certificates. For international joint programs, candidates can apply based on subject combinations with English certificates or interview results.
- Candidates applying for the "Pharmacy" major must meet the requirements set by the Ministry of Education and Training (currently updating).
- TDTU will process admissions according to the order of preferences registered by candidates on the Ministry of Education and Training’s system, following the admission principles as regulated by the Ministry.
f. Application fee:
- 20,000 VND per preference.
- 300,000 VND per interview session for candidates applying for international joint training programs or international joint training preparatory programs.
- Candidates must complete payment online on the system. Only after full payment will candidates be considered for admission. The university does not refund the application fee.

- 2. Method 2: Admission based on the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam results

- Candidates register for admission on the Ministry of Education and Training’s system according to the regulations and guidelines of the Ministry.

- For subject combinations including English or Chinese, TDTU will only use the results from the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam; it will not accept exemption results for foreign languages (English, Chinese) as per the regulations of the National High School Graduation Exam recognition process;
- TDTU does not use saved exam results as per the regulations of the National High School Graduation Exam recognition process for admissions.
- Candidates applying for majors with specialized subjects (such as Graphic Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Architecture, Regional and Urban Planning, Sports Management) must register to take the specialized subject exam organized by TDTU at https://thinangkhieu.tdtu.edu.vn. TDTU does not accept specialized exam results from other schools.
- Candidates applying for the "Pharmacy" major must meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- TDTU will process admissions according to the order of preferences registered by candidates on the Ministry of Education and Training’s system, following the admission principles as regulated by the Ministry.
- 3. Method 3: Admission based on the 2025 competency assessment exam results of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City

a. Target group: Candidates who have graduated from high school or equivalent and have the competency assessment exam results (ĐGNL) of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City in 2025.

- Admission will be based on the ĐGNL exam results in 2025. Candidates who do not meet the minimum ĐGNL exam score required for the program will not be eligible for admission.
- 4. Method 4: Admission based on priority regulations and direct admission

In this method, TDTU applies the Ministry of Education and Training's admission regulations for candidates with achievements in national and international competitions.
- Candidates applying for the "Pharmacy" major must meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Priority criteria are based on national and international achievements. For each program, TDTU will specify the criteria and select candidates accordingly.
Candidates with achievements in national and international competitions can apply directly without following the usual process.
