  • Faculty leaders and lecturers from the Faculty of Pharmacy, TDTU: 10 lecturers.

  • Faculty leaders and lecturers from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MU): 6 lecturers.

  • Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, TDTU: 20 students.

5. General Information:

  • Mahidol University traces its origins to Siriraj Hospital, which was founded in 1888 by King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). Its medical school is the oldest higher education institution in Thailand, awarding the country’s first medical degree in 1893. The institution became the University of Medical Sciences in 1943 and was officially renamed Mahidol University in 1969. Since then, Mahidol University has grown into one of Thailand’s most prestigious universities, renowned globally for its high standards in research and teaching, outstanding achievements in academic collaboration, international partnerships, and professional services.

  • Faculty of Pharmacy – Mahidol University was established in 1914 and offers a wide range of academic programs including Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees (see more at: pharmacy.mahidol.ac.th). The Faculty of Pharmacy was among the first four faculties founded along with the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science. During Mahidol University’s institutional expansion, the Faculty of Pharmacy was relocated to the Phayathai Campus and officially established on June 7, 1968, under the Faculty of Medicine. In 1969, the university was honorably renamed by King Bhumibol Adulyadej in tribute to his father, Prince Mahidol of Songkla. Today, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Mahidol University is recognized as the leading institution in pharmaceutical education and scientific research in Thailand.
