The 5th Asian Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences (ASIAPHARM V)

The Asian Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences (ASIAPHARM) is an annual international conference established to promote advances in pharmaceutical sciences. The first conference, ASIAPHARM I, was held at Ton Duc Thang University in 2016, followed by ASIAPHARM II at Seoul National University in 2017, ASIAPHARM III at Bandung Institute of Technology in 2018, and ASIAPHARM IV at Universiti Teknologi MARA in 2019. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference series was temporarily suspended. In 2023, the 5th Asian Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences (ASIAPHARM V) resumed and was hosted in Vietnam.

ASIAPHARM V took place at the main campus of Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from August 16 to 18, 2023. The theme of the conference was “Advances and Achievements in Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences.” The scientific program covered a broad range of disciplines, including organic and medicinal chemistry, pharmacology and clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical industry, pharmacognosy and natural products, pharmaceutical biotechnology, pharmaceutical management and economics, analytical chemistry and drug quality control, multimedia drug development, and other related fields.

The conference aimed to facilitate knowledge exchange, address current challenges, foster innovation, and strengthen both national and international collaboration in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.
