From October 31 to November 4, 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ton Duc Thang University brought 15 students to participate in the academic exchange program “International Summer Course 2024” at Hasanuddin University (UnHAS) in Indonesia.

The program included activities for both faculty and students, with lectures covering:

• Lecture by TDTU:

  • Insights into antioxidant activities and anti-skin-aging potential of Rourea oligophlebia extracts.
  • Can brain damage from multiple sclerosis repair itself?
  • Isolation, semi-synthesis, and biological activities of xanthones.

• Lecture by UnHAS:

  • Introduction to Nanoparticles
  • 3D printed drug-eluting medical devices
  • The use of Drosophila as preclinical models of disease

• Farewell Party

This extracurricular activity provided students with an opportunity to further develop their skills, laboratory techniques, and specialized knowledge.
