Faculty of Pharmacy, Ton Duc Thang University Co-organizes Scientific Workshop on Lipid Applications in Pharmaceutical Formulation Technology
On the morning of May 6, 2026, an international scientific workshop on the application of functional lipids in the development of high-performance pharmaceutical formulations was held at Hall 10F, Ton Duc Thang University. The event attracted the participation of numerous scientists, lecturers, researchers, industry representatives, and students in the fields of pharmacy and biomedical sciences.
The workshop served as an academic forum to update participants on emerging trends in modern pharmaceutical technology while strengthening connections among universities, research institutes, and enterprises in research and technology transfer activities.
High-Application Scientific Topics
Within the framework of the workshop, scientific presentations focused on the role of lipids in the development of modern drug delivery systems, featuring several key topics:
- Applications of Lipid-Based Formulations (LBFs) to enhance drug solubility and bioavailability;
- Strategies for designing lipid matrix systems in controlled-release formulations;
- The potential of lipids in the development of topical dosage forms;
- Directions for collaboration between academia and industry in pharmaceutical research, development, and technology transfer.
The presentations not only provided valuable academic insights but also addressed practical applications in pharmaceutical manufacturing and product development.
