Faculty of Pharmacy, Ton Duc Thang University Participates in the Thailand–Vietnam Student Exchange Program at Kasetsart University - Sriracha Campus
From January 21 to 25, 2026, a student exchange program was held at the Faculty of Science at Sriracha, Kasetsart University – Sriracha Campus. The program was jointly organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), Vietnam, and the Faculty of Science at Sriracha, with the aim of promoting academic cooperation and enhancing student capacity in accordance with international standards.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Ph. Puengboon Pansila, Dean of the Faculty of Science at Sriracha. He warmly welcomed the delegation comprising three lecturers and eighteen students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, TDTU, reflecting the spirit of openness, collaboration, and friendship between the two institutions.
The program, hosted by the Faculty of Science at Sriracha, aimed to elevate teaching and research activities of both faculty members and students to an international level, while building and expanding domestic and international academic and research collaboration networks, with a particular focus on the development of a sustainable academic network.
This exchange program represents a concrete implementation of the cooperation framework outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the two institutions. It seeks to deepen collaborative ties and generate tangible benefits through educational activities, academic exchange, and Thai–Vietnamese cultural interaction.
The key activities of the program included:
- Reception of the delegation and an overview introduction highlighting the institutions and their academic achievements.
- Cultural and educational exchanges connected with nature, contributing to enhanced mutual understanding and closer bonds between students from both sides.
- Academic activities featuring the specialized lecture titled “A Special Topic in Applied Chemistry,” focusing on various types of scientific publications such as research articles, case studies, and research reports, jointly delivered by lecturers from both institutions.
This visit by the Faculty of Pharmacy, TDTU, is regarded as an important milestone following the MOU signing ceremony, marking the initial step toward realizing the agreed cooperation objectives in alignment with the shared vision and strategic orientation of both parties.
Through this program, cooperative relationships among higher education institutions at the national level and within the ASEAN region have been further strengthened. Exchanges of knowledge, culture, and learning experiences among students and lecturers have been enhanced, while numerous opportunities for future research collaboration, academic publications, and joint project implementation have been opened.
Overall, the student exchange program is recognized as a significant step in the roadmap toward sustainable development and deeper international integration for both the Faculty of Science at Sriracha and the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ton Duc Thang University.
