From November 2, 2023 to November 6, 2023, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ton Duc Thang University brought 13 students to participate in the academic exchange program "Hasanuddin International Summer Course 2023" at Hasanuddin University ( Indonesia) under the leadership of:
- Dr. Nguyen Minh Hien - Assistant to the Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
- MSc. Nguyen Le Thanh Tuyen - Teaching officer, Faculty of Pharmacy.
The program with activities of lecturers and students includes:
- Lecture by Dr. Nguyen Minh Hien (TDTU, Vietnam) - Topic: Natural Product Chemistry: The Isolation and Bioactivity.
- Lecture by Le Thanh Tuyen Nguyen, M.Sc (TDTU, Vietnam) - Topic: Pancreatic Hormones and Antidiabetic Drug.
- Lecture by Muhammad Aswad, PhD (UNHAS) - Topic: Structure-Activity and Relationship of ACE inhibitors.
- Laboratory Practice by Nurhasni Hasan, PhD (UNHAS) - Topic: Natural Products in Cosmetic: Towards Green Formulation.
- Laboratory Practice by Rangga Meidianto Asri, MSc Prof. Firzan Nainu, PhD (UNHAS) - Topic: The Use of Drosophila as Preclinical Model of Disease.
- Laboratory Practice by Muhammad Nur Amir, M.Sc Habibie, PhD (UNHAS) - Topic: Introduction to Rodent Animal Models.
- Outbound: Samalona Island.
- Cross-culture Performance and Farewell Party.
This is an extracurricular activity that helps students hone their skills, laboratory operations and professional knowledge.
