On December 8, 2024, at Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), the Organizing Committee of the 26th Euréka Student Research Award selected and honored 187 outstanding research projects from nearly 2,000 submissions nationwide. The awards included 15 First Prizes, 14 Second Prizes, 18 Third Prizes, and 140 Consolation Prizes, with a total prize value of VND 414 million.

The Euréka Student Research Award is one of the most prestigious awards recognizing innovative and outstanding scientific research conducted by university students across Vietnam.

Established in 1998, the Euréka Award is organized annually by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and related organizations. Since 2017, the competition has expanded to a nationwide scale.

The award aims to nurture students’ passion for scientific research and inspire future generations of outstanding scientists. Today, Euréka is widely regarded as the largest and most prestigious student scientific research competition in Vietnam.
