TON DUC THANG UNIVERSITY AND THE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY – THE UNIVERSITY OF DANANG STRENGTHEN COOPERATION IN EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND HEALTHCARE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
On June 4, 2026, at the Tan Hung Campus, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomed a delegation from the School of Medicine and Pharmacy – The University of Danang (SMP) for a working session aimed at exploring collaborative opportunities in education, scientific research, and the development of high-quality healthcare professionals.
During the meeting, representatives of both institutions discussed a wide range of potential areas for cooperation. Key topics included academic exchange programs for faculty members and experts, joint organization of scientific conferences and professional seminars, as well as expanding collaboration in research and educational activities.
A major focus of the discussion was the establishment of joint research groups to promote international scientific publications and develop high-impact research projects in medicine, pharmacy, and health sciences. Through these initiatives, both institutions aim to strengthen research capacity and contribute practical solutions to challenges in healthcare and public health.
In their remarks, the leaders of both universities expressed strong confidence in the potential for collaboration between TDTU and the School of Medicine and Pharmacy – The University of Danang. The two institutions agreed to maintain regular academic exchanges and develop concrete cooperation plans across various fields, leveraging their respective strengths to enhance education quality, research excellence, and community engagement.
The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening the partnership between the two higher education institutions, contributing to sustainable development and advancing healthcare and health sciences in Vietnam.
