1. Functions and Responsibilities
The Animal Ethics Committee of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU-AEC) was established under Decision No. 2657/QĐ-TĐT dated August 20, 2024, issued by the President of Ton Duc Thang University.
The Committee operates to support the review, evaluation, and ethical appraisal of research involving animals, ensuring that the welfare and rights of animals used in research comply with the 2015 Law on Veterinary Medicine and the 2018 Law on Animal Husbandry of Vietnam.
2. Organizational Structure and Operating Regulations
The organizational structure and operational regulations of the TDTU-AEC were promulgated under Decision No. 2064/QĐ-TĐT dated June 27, 2024.
3. Committee Members
The Animal Ethics Committee of Ton Duc Thang University, Term I (2024–2027), established under Decision No. 2657/QĐ-TĐT dated August 20, 2024, consists of:

4. Application Submission
Applicants are required to provide complete documentation in accordance with regulations for ethical evaluation of animal research. The application dossier includes:
a) Application form for approval of animal use for scientific purposes (Appendix 1);
b) Curriculum vitae of the Principal Investigator and key researchers (Appendix 2).
Applicants must complete the dossier and submit one electronic copy via email to the Committee Secretary, and contact the Secretary for submission of the hard copy.
