1. Roles and Responsibilities

The Animal Ethics Committee at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU-AEC) was established under Decision No. 2657/QĐ-TĐT dated August 20, 2024, issued by the President of Ton Duc Thang University. The Committee operates to support the review, evaluation, and ethical assessment of animal-related research, ensuring that the rights of animals used in research are protected in accordance with the Law on Veterinary Medicine 2015 and the Law on Animal Husbandry 2018.

2. Regulations on Organization and Operation

The regulations on the organization and operation of the Animal Ethics Committee at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU-AEC) were issued under Decision No. 2064/QĐ-TĐT on June 27, 2024.

3. Committee Members

The Animal Ethics Committee at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU-AEC) for the term I (2024-2027), established under Decision No. 2657/QĐ-TĐT on August 20, 2024, consists of the following members:

Applicants must provide all necessary documentation in accordance with regulations for the ethical assessment of animal research. The documentation includes:

1. a) Application for Approval to Use Animals for Scientific Purposes (Appendix 1);
2. b) Curriculum Vitae of the Principal Investigator and key researchers (Appendix 2).
