Students of the Faculty of Pharmacy – Ton Duc Thang University completed Internships Program in Semester 1, Academic Year 2025-2026.
Since its 2015 establishment, the Faculty of Pharmacy at TDTU has become a prestigious institution in Vietnam, dedicated to training pharmacists who are skilled, knowledgeable, and professional.
The Faculty's 5-year, 181-credit Bachelor of Pharmacy program provides students with comprehensive specialized knowledge and practical skills. A key feature of the curriculum is its mandatory professional internship program for final-year students. Students can choose their internship placement at reputable hospital pharmacy departments or pharmaceutical enterprises based on their academic performance, career orientation, and personal preferences. These partner enterprises operate in various fields, including drug manufacturing, quality control, business, retail, and hospital pharmacy.
During the internship, students receive direct, hands-on guidance in all aspects of the unit's pharmacy-related operations. This practical experience allows them to adapt to the corporate culture and gain valuable insights. Following the internship, students are evaluated by both the host enterprise and TDTU faculty, and this assessment is a critical component for graduation.
This internship program has proven highly effective, yielding positive results that help students integrate seamlessly into the professional environment and secure employment opportunities quickly after graduation. The program creates a mutually beneficial relationship for students, the university, and the participating enterprises, ultimately enhancing the quality of pharmacists trained by TDTU.
