On May 8, 2026, within the framework of TDTU Career Fair 2026, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), in collaboration with MerapLion Group Joint Stock Company, successfully organized the MERAPLION INTERVIEW DAY featuring various meaningful activities for Pharmacy students. On this occasion, TDTU and MerapLion also officially signed a cooperation agreement, opening up new opportunities for academic collaboration and career development for students.

MerapLion is a pharmaceutical and healthcare company and a member of Japan’s Lion Group. With more than 25 years of development, the company has continuously invested in research and development (R&D), advanced manufacturing technologies, and a nationwide multi-channel distribution system. MerapLion owns several trusted and well-known brands, including OSLA eye drops, XISAT deep sea saline spray, and Medoral mouthwash.

The signing ceremony between TDTU and MerapLion marked an important milestone in strengthening the partnership between the University and industry, aiming to enhance training quality, expand internship and recruitment opportunities, and develop high-quality human resources for Pharmacy students.

As part of the event series, the MERAPLION INTERVIEW DAY was actively held at Hall 6M with the participation of many students interested in professional skills and career opportunities in the pharmaceutical field. The program provided practical and valuable content, including introductions to the working environment and career opportunities at MerapLion, orientation for pharmaceutical career positions, guidance on professional CV writing, effective interview skills, and interactive career discussions with students.

The program was honored to welcome:

• Ms. Pham Thanh Lan – Human Resources Director of MerapLion Group Joint Stock Company;
• Mr. Bui Xuan Khanh – Head of Human Resources Partnership Department of MerapLion Group Joint Stock Company.

In addition to the career skills workshop, Pharmacy students also participated in direct recruitment interviews with the company at Room C011. The activity attracted many final-year students who aimed to experience a real recruitment process, demonstrate their professional competencies, explore suitable job opportunities, and directly connect with a pharmaceutical enterprise.

Through the program, students not only gained essential knowledge and practical skills before entering the labor market but also had the opportunity to access a professional recruitment environment and gain clearer career orientation for their future development.

The event further affirmed the role of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ton Duc Thang University in strengthening university–industry collaboration and accompanying students in professional training, career preparation, and the development of high-quality human resources to meet societal demands.
